A legendary race and organization, the Boston Marathon and Boston Athletic Association got their start in l887. The fabled brand was due for a fresh retelling of their story and heritage ­modernizing it to appeal to the new generation of runners. We took a digital-first approach and applied this new branding to their mobile app and website. Our goal was to optimize peoples’ experiences, connecting participants, spectators and volunteers to all B.A.A. races.
