Jim Valvano, one of the most inspirational coaches of all time, delivered a motivational speech at The ESPY Awards that moved the world while establishing the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Since then, research has been leading us to Victory Over Cancer®, but we’re not there yet. Launching at the 30th anniversary of Jim’s speech and the beginning of March Madness, our PSA, entitled “Halftime” features a researcher delivering an emotional locker room speech to the world validated by the icon of coaches, Coach K - the winningest coach in men's Division I college basketball history, and the coach of three US men's Olympic gold medal teams.
